  Not afraid of the WTO. Business refutes myths

  According to the research of the impact of the WTO on business activity conducted by the IER since 2004, Oksana Kuziakiv prepared an article for the European Truth (Evropeyska Pravda). The author states that most of the myths that nourished mass consciousness in recent years about the negative impact of the WTO on Ukrainian economy, have no objective basis.

  Labour migration as a factor of economic growth in Ukraine

  According to a survey on labor migration, which was held in 2012, 1.2 million citizens of Ukraine work abroad. However, analysis of data from the EU and Russia indicates that this estimate is too low. The number of Ukrainian labor migrants abroad is estimated at 1.5-2 million people, or 6.8-9.1% economically active population of Ukraine.
