Aim of the Project: IDP families with dependent children with ASD who arrived in Kyiv from other regions of Ukraine since the start of hostilities will receive free psychological support, and their children will receive psycho-corrective rehabilitation.

The main target group of the project is IDP families with dependent children with mental disabilities and ASD who suffered from hostilities and have temporary shelter in Kyiv and communities of Kyiv, Chernihiv and Zhytomyr regions.
The project is aimed at reducing the burden, both material and psychological, on such families.
Therefore, during the implementation of the project:
Specialists of the Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children with Mental Disabilities "KIDDOM" (remedial pedagogue - oligophrenopedagogue; practical psychologist, speech therapist) according to the plan, 300 individual classes were held with children of the target group in accordance with individual corrective and developmental educational programs developed for each child. Thanks to the classes held, 33 children of the target group restored and supported the dynamics of improving cognitive abilities, increased their socialization, reduced anxiety, improved speech abilities, and developed adaptation to new living conditions.
Also, crisis psychologists conducted 100 consultations for parents and family members of children in the target group to improve their psychological condition, including improving interaction with their child. Thanks to these measures, 62 adults from the target group improved their emotional and psychological state. In addition, they have mastered practical skills in mutual understanding with children and skills in providing primary psychological help to their children, developed their mediating abilities between the child and society.
Special attention was paid to the communication direction. Thanks to the active work of communicators, by the end of the project implementation, the plan for achieving the indicators of success in the communication component was almost twice exceeded. With a plan of 15 informative messages at the end of the project, only informational messages were posted on the organization's Facebook page, with 33 messages about the best moments of the work of the Center's specialists, the success of children in the correctional and developmental direction and adults in improving their psychological state. In addition, the communication team prepared and posted 3 video collages about the Center's work and children's successes. 1 video story and 3 video testimonials are posted, which describe the life stories of families with children of the target audience and the positive changes in their lives thanks to visiting the Center as part of the project.
