Aim of the Project: to organise project-based training for displaced persons in the area of creative entrepreneurship, to arrange presentations and support their business ideas in the municipalities of Ivano-Frankivsk.
Additional Information: in the Ivano-Frankivsk region more than 146,000, of which more than 100 thousand are adults, a significant part of which have lost their jobs, and have the desire to change the sphere of activity and are ready to make efforts for this. The trends of the last months of the state of war indicate that the weakness of the development of entrepreneurial initiatives in the absence of additional measures will only increase the pressure on the budgets of communities.
Our approach allows to reach a large number of displaced persons and improve their entrepreneurial skills using our play tools. The experience of projects for over 300 ATO/JFO veterans and their family members has shown that this type of work is an effective tool to boost entrepreneurial activity. For 3 years after completing the study, 80% of our students started their own business, found a job or a career grew, and more than 50% of all students have set up their own company.
Representatives from the Ivano-Frankivsk regional administration and the OTH administrations will be involved in the project implementation. The project will be highlighted in the local media in the framework of national co-operation. OTH Carpathian Association will also be attracted for information support of the project.
Project results:
- 14 trainings were conducted (5 online), covering all 7 communities of the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The number of participants is 200, 102 of which are internally displaced people.
- The best participants of the training were invited to a meeting at the New Energy Science Center on August 31, 2022. They received training certificates and gifts (portable chargers).
