Grantee: NGO “Development Center Pangeya Ultima”
Implementation Project Area: the entire territory of Ukraine
Project Period: 01.07.2022 — 31.10.2022
Project status: completed
Aim of the Project: initially, to create YouthFuture.UA - a resource for information and communication and then a community of support for young Ukrainians who are victims of the Russian war in Ukraine.
Additional Information: Information and communication resources YouthFuture.UA will be made up of several web solutions: web site, Telegram channel, Facebook page. This resource will, on the one hand, accumulate and promote information on practices and examples of assistance for victims of war (especially young people). On the other hand, YouthFuture.UA will analyse the context with topics working to help victims of war (particularly young people) in Ukraine and abroad. Finally, this resource will facilitate the communication of volunteers and donors and those in need of this assistance, people in temporarily occupied territories, the wounded and their families, people in danger, etc. This will be the main goal of the project, because over time around information resources a community will be created, which will generate thematic activities and increase reach to target groups. Please note that we have already developed the above-mentioned information resources (with no institutional support) and on a voluntary basis complete the channels with information on the website.
The target audience for the project is young people (aged 18-40), which have been affected by the war or its consequences and are on the territory of Ukraine/temporarily occupied territories, or were forced to go abroad as a result of the influence of the war. Project activity can also benefit other target groups, but to a smaller extent (children, adults).
Our organization has been involved in informal education and intercultural dialogue for the last decade. Now our activity has ceased in the same form as prior to the Russian invasion. However, we have used the forces of our team and we continue to do so to help people in difficulty or to support the armed forces. We are committed to fundraising, humanitarian assistance, and more – communicating with people to solve their problems. Our competitive edge is a very large network of partners in public organizations, mainly abroad. This has enabled us to help many Ukrainian migrants forced into the European Union. We have started to hold online charity concerts for foreign audiences and to communicate in solidarity initiatives with many organizations.
Project results:
-
8 digital hybrid charity concerts for the people from the following locations: Krushevo (North Macedonia), Los Le Sonié (France), Heidelberg (Germany), Turin (Italy), Buckline (Belgium), Cork (Ireland), Warsaw (Poland) and Budapest (Hungary) were held.
-
Around 2000 Euros were raised during the charity concerts.
-
76 web publications were posted.
