Aim of the Project: to inform society of current challenges and ways to assist citizens; to bring people and public organizations together around volunteerism; to implement measures to counteract misinformation by the enemy; to bring people’s attention to humanitarian catastrophe in Kharkiv region, to disseminate positive practices for overcoming the consequences of military actions.
Additional Information:organisation aims on work to improve communication between people in communities throughout the region (first, those who are under active occupation or bombing), and local authorities/governments, volunteers and all who can help them.
The content of the project will also focus on community initiatives to overcome/mitigate the adverse consequences of war, on the solution of common problems, in particular unemployment, the restoration of dwellings, raising funds from the community and external humanitarian assistance, upgrading the educational system, etc.
The information partners for the project will be the Kharkiv regional media “Slobidskiy krai” and the Izjumskiy district media “ObriiIzyumszczyny”, which continuously provide socially relevant, verified and relevant regional information and deny Russian misinformation.
The project aims to raise awareness about the humanitarian problems in the Kharkiv region during the war through producing and distributing relevant content across all media platforms of the partners (the newspaper "Slobidskiy Krai" (printed and electronic versions), websites “Slobidskiy Krai” and “ObriiIzyumszczyny”, social media groups and pages (total audience of all platforms – about 1,000,000 per month).
