Aim of the Project: to increase public influence on decision-making processes in the educational sphere and to reduce potential social conflicts that may arise during the optimization of the educational institutions network in Hmilnyk city territorial community of Vinnytsia region.
Additional Information: after conducting the administrative-territorial reform, 41 settlements (40 of them are rural) became part of the Hmilnyk Municipal Territorial Community. Within the community there are 22 general schools, in which 4,754 pupils are trained. 4 of these schools are in the town of Hmilnyk, and 18 - in the rural villages. 3156 pupils are registered in urban areas and 1598 in rural areas. The average cost of education for a student in a municipal school is UAH 21,404, and for a student in a rural school - UAH 49,481.
Of course, the community had a problem with the rationalisation of the network of educational institutions. The purpose of the project was to increase public influence in decision-making processes for the optimisation of the educational network in the urban district of Hmilnyk of the Vinnytsia region.
The project accomplished following tasks:

monitoring of educational industry in the Hmilnyk community was conducted;

report on the results of monitoring was made;

5 public report discussions in the round table meeting format were held;

2 games-trainings for educational process understanding among participants were conducted;

6 articles on intermediate results of the project were published;
-
the optimisation plan project of the educational network in the Hmilnyk Municipal Territorial Community was developed.
