Unfavorable political situation and poor regulatory climate have become more serious obstacles for banks than the competition in the sector and the lack of qualified employees. This tendency has been demonstrated in the first banks quarterly survey in 2013 held by the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting. The role of institutional factors increased compared to the previous survey, while the influence of market factors has become relatively smaller.
