According to "Business Surveys IER," said Executive Director of the IER Kuziakiv Oksana, 47% of economic experts from all regions of Ukraine stated that the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU will be the main event, which has a positive impact on the investment climate in Ukraine through 2014-2015 through improving the image of the country and the region, further reforms, harmonization of legislation and standards with the European ones and receiving technical and financial assistance from the EU and international organizations. At the same time 3.6% of the respondents saw the negative impact of the Association Agreement on investment environment in the country in 2014 and 2015, and 14.5% expressed concerns about the negative impact of trade wars with Russia and its consequences such as reduced exports to Russia and other countries of the Customs Union, the investment climate in 2014-2015.
