  Association Agreement is the main factor of positive changes in the investment environment over the next years: survey results

  According to "Business Surveys IER," said Executive Director IER Kuziakiv Oksana, 47% of economic experts from all regions of Ukraine stated that the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU will be the main event, which has a positive impact on the investment climate in Ukraine through 2014-2015 through improving the image of the country and the region, further reforms, harmonization of legislation and standards with the European ones and receiving technical and financial assistance from the EU and international organizations.

The share of managers that consider unfavourable regulatory climate to be a significant barrier to production growth of their companies has increased greatly in July compared to April (from 46.7% to 55.6%), reaching second place in the ranking of impediments to production.

  Significant currency rate fluctuations not expected by banks by April 2013

  Banks expect US dollar exchange rate to remain within the range of 8.10-8.20 UAH to 1 USD by the end of April this year. The euro will not go beyond 11 UAH according to most banks, although some allow the price of 1 euro to range from 11 to 11.20 USD. This has been shown in the first banks quarterly survey in 2013 held by the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting.

  The share of managers, according to whom the unfriendly regulatory climate is a significant obstacle to the growth of production volumes at their enterprises, almost has not changed in February compared to October (from 43.5% to 43.9%), the values of the components of this indicator almost have not changed either.
