Global government procurement market is very big as most countries spend between 10% and 30% for government purchases of goods and services. Ukrainian businesses will benefit from more open government procurement market and from Ukrainian accession to Government Procurement agreement within WTO framework. Even though relatively small part of world’s government procurement market is open to foreign competition it will still present new opportunities for Ukrainian companies. Ukrainian economy will also win from improved government procurement rules, wider competition on government procurement market as well as partnerships between Ukrainian and foreign companies.
