Development of legislation in Ukraine on technical regulation is a priority agenda EU-Ukraine Association, which should contribute to removing barriers to trade between Ukraine and the European Union. However, the implementation of this priority requires Ukraine to significant internal reforms of the system of technical regulation and changes in the regulatory framework that defines a significant duration of this process. One of the aspects of reform is related to conformity assessment procedures, including the process of registration of declarations of conformity.
