On November 10-11, 2009, Anna Kuznetsova, Kateryna Kutsenko and Dr. Heinz Strubenhoff, experts of the German-Ukrainian Policy Dialogue in Agriculture, attended the world's largest exhibition of agricultural machinery and technique – Agritechnica 2009 Exhibition in Hannover, Germany. This year over 350,000 expert visitors were present at Agritechnica, and among them 77,000 were international. More than 2,300 companies from 46 countries showed a complete program of machinery, equipment, spare parts and accessories.
In the framework of the exhibition, German Agency for Renewable Resources (FRG) organized the seminar “Bioenergy in Germany and EU – challenges, trends and technical development” for Ukrainian agricultural experts. The seminar was concluded by the visit to the bioenergy village with biogas plant in Lower Saxony.
