• The Analysis of Tax Burden on Companies in Ukraine’s Fishing Sector and Elaboration of Recommendations Regarding Decrease in the Tax Burden on these Enterprises

  Objective: 

  To elaborate justification for optimising tax burden for enterprises working in fishery in Ukraine aiming at creating preconditions for their sustainable development and increase in competitiveness of their products.

  Task:

  • to create the regulatory and legal framework, which includes materials on international taxation experience of fisheries enterprises (mainly in the case of EU member states) and the Ukrainian taxation practices of this sector of the economy; 
  • to describe and analyse the international taxation practice of fisheries management companies for the last three years (mostly on the example of EU member states);
  • to do comparative analysis of international and national tax practice of fisheries enterprises; 
  • to develop recommendations for optimizing the tax burden on enterprises in Ukraine in order to create conditions for their sustainable development and competitiveness of products manufactured by them;
  • to develop proposals for amending the existing legal framework for reducing the overall level of tax burden on enterprises showing Fishery regulations and relevant articles in these acts.
  Results:
