  • Ukraine: Country Economic Memorandum. Case Study on Service Industry

    Objective: 

    To provide a clear understanding of the characteristics and dynamics underway in the food processing industry.
    Sub-sectors:
    (i)     Canning and preserving of fruits and vegetables;
    (ii)     Beverages industries;
    (iii)    Manufacture of vegetable and animal oils and fats.

    Task:
    • to create the representative database of enterprises and organizations (representatives of food processing industry) for the survey;
    • to prepare the questionnaire for in-depth interviews;
    • to collect information and data through in-depth interviews with managers of firms; 
    • to prepare the final report on the status and problems of enterprises on food processing industry in Ukraine based on collected data;
    • to prepare the analytical information about the overall situation on food processing industry in Ukraine.
    Results:
    • representative database of enterprises and organizations (representatives of food processing industry) for the survey;
    • questionnaire for in-depth interviews;
    • information and data collected through in-depth interviews with managers of firms; 
    • final report on the status and problems of enterprises on food processing industry in Ukraine based on collected data;
    • analytical information about the overall situation on food processing industry in Ukraine.

    • Analytical report on the project results.
