• Experience of Free Trade Zones Areas with the participation of EU and its implications for prospective EU-Ukraine Free Trade Zone

  Objective: 

  To develop recommendations for approaches and principles, which form the basis of the future free trade agreement between Ukraine and the EU, and measures to be taken to develop proposals as to concluding the free trade agreement between Ukraine and the EU.

  Task:

  • to collect information on free trade agreements concluded by the EU with Central and Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean, as well as with Israel;
  • to analyse contemporary approaches to creating free trade zones in the world economy;
  • to develop proposals on approaches and principles of the free trade zone between Ukraine and the EU on the basis of the preliminary analysis.
  Results:

  • information on free trade agreements concluded by the EU with Central and Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean, as well as with Israel;
  • analysis of contemporary approaches to creating free trade zones in the world economy;
  • proposals on approaches and principles of the free trade zone between Ukraine and the EU on the basis of preliminary analysis.
