  • Quantifying barriers to energy efficiency measures to reduce GHG emissions

    (Code:2012_xx)
    Objective: 

    To explore the main barriers to implementation of energy efficiency in Ukrainian enterprises. To quantify the barriers and transaction costs associated with energy efficiency options.

    Task:
    1. Develop the survey instruments (questionnaires) and test the instruments through a pilot survey (field interviews).
    2. Conduct the field survey of 500 randomly selected commercial and industrial firms of different size from all the regions of Ukraine.
    3. Carry out data processing and all relevant statistical tests to analyze survey results.
    4. Prepare a report discussing survey techniques and results and policy implications that can be drawn from the survey.
