  • Preparation of a Venture Capital Fund (VCF). International Best Practices and Recommendations for Ukraine

    Objective: 

    To research an EU venture capital fund (VCF) best practice and its possible applicability in Ukraine

    Task:
    • to analyse the economic background of international venture capital as a type of business and its institutional structure;
    • to do complex research of how VCFs are structured, funded and the way their activities are organised;
    • to define most typical good practice (EU, USA and the ex-USSR) as relevant to establishing a VCF;
    • to develop recommendations regarding the possible options of establishing a VCF for Ukraine.
    Results:
    • analysis of economic background of international venture capital as a type of business and its institutional structure
    • complex research of how VCFs are structured, funded and the way their activities are organised;
    • identification of most typical good practice (EU, USA and the ex-USSR) as relevant to establishing a VCF;
    • recommendations regarding the possible options of establishing a VCF for Ukraine.
