On May 26, during a meeting of the grant commission, six grant applications were approved under the “Local Recovery and Reconstruction Monitoring” competition.
The winners of the grant competition are:
- NGO "Narodnyi Zakhyst"
- Zaporizhzhia Investigative Center
- NGO “Smilyvyy Irpin”
- Charity Foundation “Skhid SOS”
- NGO “Vikno Vidnovlennya”
- NGO "Dnister Lowlands Development Agency"
The grant recipients will monitor the reconstruction of social infrastructure in Kyiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv regions, and Kyiv city.
Public monitoring enhances transparency in the recovery process and ensures the enforcement of accessibility principles in newly built and restored facilities.
Monitoring results will be published on the grantees’ social media pages and the Big Recovery Portal platform.
The competition was held within the framework of the “Recovery Watchdog” project, implemented by the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting (IER), the Centre for Economic Strategy, and the Technology of Progress, with funding from the European Union.
