This policy paper analyzes how business associations help Ukrainian businesses protect their rights and what problems they may encounter.
Based on the data from two national surveys conducted by the IER (the Trade Facilitation Dialogue surbey, as well as the largest SME survey in Ukraine today, the Annual Business Climate Assessment in Ukraine), the author analyzed the differences between enterprizes (members and non-members of business associations) in their views on issues related to corruption and business regulations.
The Ukrainian version of the policy paper "Entrepreneurs' participation in business associations as a tool to protect their rights" is available following the link.
The main ideas of the policy paper in English are listed in the article "Ukrainian Business Associations Step In Where Government Underperforms and Obstructs" by Iryna Fedets.
