  • New issue of Monthly Economic Monitor Ukraine (MEMU)


    The new issue of Monthly Economic Monitor Ukraine 8 (118) gives an overview of the last month’s main events. Among those are: approval of new Stand-by Agreement for Ukraine, increase in tariffs fro natural gas and state debt accumulation.

    Theme of the month: "New gas market law".

    On July 8, the Parliament approved the Law ‘On principles of operations on the natural gas market’ long awaited by the national gas market operators and international community. Changes in market regulation are supposed to eliminate current cross-subsidization of different segments of gas market and make the market more transparent and attractive for investments.

    Monthly Economic Monitor Ukraine (MEMU) is a regular publication of the Institute, which contains a brief analysis of the key events and factors that affect the economy of Ukraine.
