On December 12, 2012 at the Embassy of Sweden there was held a regular semiannual review meeting of the project "Trade policy and practice in Ukraine". Representatives of the IER, the National Council of Trade of Sweden, Department of Cooperation with WTO and on trade protection of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA)took part in it. During the meeting there was summed up the first year of the project and identified the key areas of work in 2013. In particular, agreement was reached on the need to cooperate more closely with the business.
The Project “Trade policy and practice in Ukraine” is realized by the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and the Swedish National Boards of Trade with financial support from Swedish Government. The project aim is to enhance the capacity building and activities of Ukraine within the WTO framework.
