The financial crisis and strengthening rate of USD continues to affect international grain market negatively. Furthermore, overstating the December forecast of U.S. Department of Agriculture on world production of cereals led to lower market activity. In Australia this season is expected record wheat harvest, leading to a record volume of exports. In the Black Sea region, namely in the south-eastern Ukraine and southern Russia, it is observed a drought. At present, the state of winter grain is unsatisfactory. Grain prices in Ukraine remain at the level of the last week.
