The Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting (IER) is looking for highly motivated professionals for a position of
Junior Research Fellows in Economic Analysis
Key tasks:
- Desk research
- Assistance with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis
- Contribution to analytical and policy papers’ drafting
- Participation in public events and meetings with stakeholders
- Organisational support of the research
We expect:
- University degree in Economics or similar
- Strong analytical skills, attentiveness to details
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Readiness to work in a team and as an independent researcher
- Sound MS Office skills, statistical and economic modelling packages skills would be an asset
- High motivation, enthusiasm and commitment
- Fluency in written and spoken Ukrainian
- Sound knowledge of English
Specific professional experience in the following spheres will be an advantage:
- Experience of work with large statistical datasets
- Ability to develop and manage databases
- Analytical experience in any of the following topics: foreign trade policy, trade facilitation, connectivity in transport, energy and digital spheres, institutional development, European integration
Previous work experience will be an asset but is not required
