On January, 27, 2017, the 2016 Global Go to Think Tank Index Report, a report that ranks the world's think tanks, was presented in Ukraine. The Report is issued annually by the University of Pennsylvania’s Think Tanks and Civil Society Program.
The Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting was again included into the best think tanks in the nomination Best Advocacy Campaign (we were ranked #48 out of 90 think tanks).
Also, the IER was included in the following rankings:
- #84 out of 90 think tanks in the nomination Top Think Tanks in Central and Eastern Europe
- #116 out of 135 think tanks in the nomination Top Domestic Economic Policy Think Tanks
- #70 out of 85 think tnaks in the nomination Top International Economics Think Tanks
- #134 out of 148 think tanks in the nomination Best Independent Think Tanks.
