• 30th Biennial CIRET Conference in New York: Economic Tendency Surveys

  13-16 October Oksana Kuzaikiv participated in the 30^th Biennial CIRET Conference hosted by The Conference Board, New York, USA. Special topic of the Conference is “Economic Tendency Surveys and Financial Markets”. During the Conference leading international professionals in sphere of business cycles studies discussed  the  recent issues and prospective of business cycles in different countries as well as methodological developments in business cycle measurement and analysis. Ms. Kuziakiv has presented the paper “ Do the Managers’ Expectations Predict main Tendency Before and During Recession of Ukrainian Economy?”. The focus of the paper is on looking answer on the question: what business confidence trend to tell us in situation of the recession. The question either the managers’ expectations describe and predict main economic tendency in Ukraine is important question not only for study of business cycles but also for the economic policy making in the country.
