On July 29 in the UNIAN conference hall a regular meeting of discussion club "Expert Opinion" took place. The topic of the meeting was "Forecasts of Ukraine’s foreign policy orientation following the change of the political elite after presidential elections 2010". Kateryna Shynkaruk, research fellow of the Center for International Studies, the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting took part in the discussion.
During the discussion, experts agreed that the changes in the foreign policy of Ukraine, namely, its rapprochement with Russia, should not be interpreted as stagnation in the relations with the European Union since the current level of cooperation with the EU confirms Ukraine’s commitment to continue its policy of the European integration.
