• Renewable resources: straw

  From 12 to 29 November, 2009, Anna Kuznetsova, German-Ukrainian Policy Dialogue Consultant, studied German experience of straw usage at the Agency for Renewable Resources in Gulzow, Germany. During this theoretical study visit Ms. Kuznetsova learned how straw is used in Germany for building, heating and bioenergy production purposes.
  
  The visit for practical study is planned for spring of 2010. The result of this will be a policy paper on estimation of investment opportunities for straw usage in Ukraine. The paper is expected to be issued in summer, 2010.
