  • Business tendency in the industry: Small businesses remain pessimistic

    As a result of recent business tendency survey in the industry, the index of expected changes in business conditions has increased by 18 points (to 0.01 in February to 0.19 in April). This was due to the simultaneous increase of "optimists" (from 22.1% in February to 32.2% in April) and reduction of "pessimists" (from 23.0% to 16.7%). At the same time, 51.1% of respondents expect no change overall economic situation. The most pessimistic are small businesses, where the ratio of "optimists / pessimists" of 23.8% to 22.6%.

    The survey is conducted quarterly to monitor the assessments and expectations of managers regarding changes in the business environment in general and the performance of enterprises.
