Project Title: «Resilience and Engagement for Ukraine: Empowering Civil Society to Meet War-Induced needs and Advance Ukraine’s EU Path»
Project Duration: 2 December 2025 - 1 December 2028.
Project Objective: To strengthen the resilience and capacity of Ukrainian civil society to respond to the challenges of war and to actively contribute to Ukraine’s accession process to the European Union at both national and regional levels.
Project Summary:
The project «Resilience and Engagement for Ukraine» (REU) is designed to enhance the resilience, inclusiveness, and analytical capacity of Ukrainian civil society amid the prolonged war and Ukraine’s parallel progress toward EU membership. The initiative combines practical support for vulnerable groups (through reintegration and educational services) with the development of civil society’s role as a state partner in monitoring and communicating European integration reforms.

Project Activities:
1. Grant Support: Four grant competitions will be launched during 2026–2027 under this programme, providing financial support to CSOs.
2. Capacity Development: Implementation of a training programme for grant recipients to strengthen institutional capacity and enhance organisational effectiveness.
3. Partnerships and Networking: Facilitation of cooperation among CSOs, research institutions, academia and mediafor the joint development of analytical products and stronger participation in reforms.
4. Analytics and Communication: Preparation and dissemination of analytical materials, alongside communication activities to highlight project results and raise awareness of recovery and European integration processes.
